I can make the tv take up more of my field of view by moving closer to the tv, so if I move closer to the big tv it may take up 110° of my vision. Yeah, it is something that you can prefer, and a lot of people have their preferance, but I wish more people would explain FOV properly to give people a good starting point.įor starters, there is optimal FOV, for everyone, because this was originally not meant to be played with "just because" or "for preferance" and game devs never put the accurate description or examples for how to properly set FOV.
